Fall 2026

Cozy Craft Camp

Overview

Adults Only

Cozy crafting isn’t about being artistic, productive, or creating something perfect. It’s about giving yourself permission to settle into a comfortable chair, sip a warm drink, work on a project that brings you joy, and enjoy the calming rhythm of making something with your hands. Creative activities can help quiet the noise of daily life, reduce stress, spark imagination, and create space for meaningful conversations and connection.

Embracing Gilmont’s value of Wonder-Filled Play by creating space for adults to rediscover the simple joy of making, exploring, and being present. Somewhere along the way, many of us begin to believe that creativity needs a purpose or that play is something reserved for children. This weekend offers a different invitation—to follow your curiosity, try something new, laugh with friends, and delight in the process rather than the outcome. Whether you’re learning a new craft, piecing together a puzzle, sharing stories around a table, or simply enjoying a peaceful afternoon with a project in hand, this retreat celebrates the wonder that emerges when we give ourselves permission to play.

More information

Cozy Craft Camp is an adults-only weekend retreat designed for slowing down, getting creative, and
enjoying good company. From Friday evening to Sunday, it’s all about cozy vibes, creating crafts, and doing exactly as much (or as little) as you want.

We’ll have a guided group workshop, self-led craft stations, and the option to bring a project from
home to work on. The schedule is intentionally low-key, so you have the freedom to follow whatever
sounds fun in the moment. There’s plenty to enjoy beyond crafting including board games, puzzles,
video games, and quiet spaces for reading, stretching, or just relaxing. Hoodies and sweatpants are
encouraged.

The cost of Cozy Craft Camp includes a Supply Fee so all specialty items needed for the crafts will be
provided for you!
