Older Campers
Day campers are organized into small groups of 10-12 children around their age. Each group is supervised by two carefully selected and highly trained counselors. Camp staff undergo a rigorous screening and complete a minimum of 12 days of orientation and training. Counselors are attentive, caring, and creative young adults who are passionate about spending time with children and affirming their uniqueness as Children of God. They help make the Day Camp experience fun and enriching for all campers!
Gilmont’s activities and small group structure allow campers to grow in character and community while spending time in the outdoors with their friends and their counselors. Campers will not only talk about the fun they had in the great outdoors; but they will also talk about their accomplishments, new friendships, and a closer relationship with God!
Gilmont believes that every child deserves the experience and benefits of summer camp. We recognize that families have different abilities and resources to pay for a week of summer camp, which is why we are offering flexible pricing.
Option A reflects the true cost of camp, Option C is the historically subsidized rate, and Option B is a midpoint between the two.
No matter which option you choose, the amenities, activities, and camp experience are the same.
