Family Camp

Overview

Your family rents one side of a cabin or lodge rooms.

Family Camp is a modified weekend camping experience for families with kids of all ages. Bring the whole family and enjoy 400 acres of natural beauty and choices of a variety of recreation activities. It’s the perfect weekend getaway and bonding experience!

  • Family Camp is June 5-7, 2026.
  • Your family rents one side of a cabin or lodge rooms.
  • Explore and play at camp on your own with access to hiking trails, games, and activities.
  • Enjoy canoes, paddleboards, zipline, crafts, and archery during scheduled times.
  • All meals are served buffet style in the Dining Hall. Families will have an assigned indoor dining table, and are also free to take meals outside to a picnic table or on the grounds as desired.

Pets
We are positive that your pets are the best in the world. Unfortunately, pets are NOT allowed at family camp.

The cost per adult in attendance is $100. Children ages 6-17 are $100, children ages 3-5 are $75, and children 2 or under are free.

Your family has two different loding options! They can sleep in an air-conditioned cabin with a private bath for $150. Each cabin has two sides which sleep up to 9 each. Your family would be on oneside and another family on the other.

You may also choose to sleep in Gilmont’s lodge rooms which are air-conditioned and wifi-accessible and have a private bath. Each lodge room sleeps 2 people and can be rented for $100 each.

Cancellations and Refunds

Full payment is due two weeks prior to the session start date.

​More than 31 days before the session start date:

Cancellations occurring 31+ days prior to the session start date will result in a refund of all payments including the registration deposit.

Between 15 and 30 days of the session start date:

Cancellations occurring between 15 and 30 prior to the retreat start date will result in a refund of all payments, except for the registration deposit.

Less than 14 Days before the session start date:

Cancellations occurring within 14 days prior to the session start date will result in forfeiture of payments made including the registration deposit. You will be given the option to apply all payments (less the registration deposit) to a future retreat during the next 365 days. 

Summer Session Cancellation:

If Gilmont is unable to host the session for any reason all payments will be refunded in full.

Lodging

Family Camp Lodging
Inside the cabin. This is what the space will look like when you arrive. There are 9 beds (4 bunk and 1 single) they are standard twins in length.
Along with climate controlled lodging, you will have a restroom with two sinks, one toilet, and a shower, as well as front and back porches.

Guests enjoy modern overnight accommodations with double-occupancy private rooms in the camp lodge. Each room has a private bath. There are twenty lodge rooms with each sleeping two per room in twin size beds.
