Older Campers

In Matthew 13:31–32, Jesus compares the kingdom of God to a mustard seed—small, ordinary, and full of possibility. Though it begins unseen, it grows into something strong and sheltering, with roots deeper than we can measure. The mustard plant reminds us that God’s work does not depend on perfect conditions or polished appearances, but on quiet faith that takes hold and keeps growing.
At this year’s Women’s Retreat, we will reflect on what it means to live with that kind of faith in our own lives and in our communities. We will make space for stories of resilience, hope, and holy growth—especially where faith feels hidden, messy, or unfinished.
This retreat is an invitation to honor deep roots, embrace imperfect growth, and trust that God is at work even in poor soil and painful seasons. Come rest, wonder, and rediscover how your story—no matter how small it may feel—belongs to something vast, brave, and life-giving.
Gilmont’s Women’s Retreat is held annually as a time of fellowship, fun, and growing together. You are invited to bring a group from your church and share a cabin, or sign up as an individual and come make some new friends. It is a great time of growing together in Christ and community. We hope you will join us!
The retreat begins Friday, May 1 with registration beginning at 4:00pm. Dinner will be served at 6:00, followed by opening keynote and fellowship together.
On Saturday, May 2, participants enjoy morning and evening keynote sessions, with free time to rest, explore, and recharge. Free-time options include contemplative prayer stations, painting and other crafts, yoga, guided hikes, axe throwing, disc golf, and more.
The retreat concludes Sunday, May 3 following worship and lunch.
