Forces of Nature focuses on outdoor exploration and the nature that surrounds us. Campers learn about local wildlife and stewardship. They extend their gaze to the Heavens and study the stars. They use nature as a medium for craft projects and conduct experiments to learn more about God's creation. 2023 Forces of Nature campers built their own terrariums, collected and observed different soil samples, and had a special course on erosion science. Gilmont's 400 acres of pineywoods is the ideal enviornment to study the outdoors! In addition to the fun specialty camp activities, campers still enjoy classic Gilmont activities including canoeing, archery, games, disc golf, swimming, and more. Campers arrive for Forces of Nature on Sunday, June 23 between 3:00-5:00 PM. The closing ceremony is at 3:00 PM on Friday, June 28 with pick-up beginning 30 minutes prior. Guardians and loved ones are encouraged to attend the closing ceremony. Dates and Completed Grades:

"Watching a camper's curiosity when you start interacting with nature and turn a creepy crawly into a learning experience is amazing, and that stuff impacts them and leaves them feeling more confident about exploring the outdoors." - Camp Counselor |
