Older Campers
A job at summer camp is unlike anything else you will ever experience. You’ll grow in friendship and in faith. You’ll make a positive impact on the lives of campers while also developing as an individual, a leader, a team player, a steward of creation, and a follower of God.
While there are rhythms and routines in camp life, each day presents unique situations and new challenges. You’ll work alongside a supportive and dynamic team to problem solve, process, and adapt. The skills you develop and experience you gain transfer to many different career paths – from social work to engineering to accounting to teaching!
Our employment dates for Summer 2024 are May 25th-July 20th. Meals, housing, and a weekly salary are provided for the duration of your employment. If you are not already certified, no worries! Gilmont will provide a Lifeguarding with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid course during staff training.
Any summer staff member can be a Lifeguard at camp! When you apply for another position, simply select that you are interested in also working as a Lifeguard this summer.
Lifeguards receive a $75 weekly bonus on top of their starting salary.
