Fall Youth Kick-off Retreat

Overview

Completed 6th-12th Graders

Kick-off your confirmation and school year with an educational and transformational weekend retreat at Gilmont!

The goal of the Fall Youth Kick-Off retreat is twofold:

for confirmands in grades 6th-12th and their mentors to discover what confirmation is all about and
for youth in grades 6th-12th who have already gone through confirmation to reflect on their faith commitments and continue to grow closer to God, creation, others, and themselves.

All youth will connect with the larger church body and grow in their faith communities. Confirmands, youth, and their mentors will wonder, discover, and connect with each other in the beautiful pineywoods of East TX as they explore their faith journeys.

Cost:

$150 per youth or adult sponsor

Meals:

Saturday meals & Sunday breakfast

Lodging:

Stay in air-conditioned cabins with your group

Full payment is due two weeks prior to the retreat start date.

24 hour grace period:

Cancellations occurring within 24 hours of registration are eligible for a full refund of all payments, including the registration deposit.

More than 14 days:

Cancellations occurring 14+ days prior to the retreat start date will result in a refund of all payments except the $40 non-refundable registration deposit.

Less than 13 Days:

Cancellations occurring within 13 days prior to the retreat start date will result in forfeiture of the entire tuition including the $40 non-refundable registration deposit. You will be given the option to apply all payments to a future retreat in the same calendar year.

Retreat Cancellation:

If Camp Gilmont is unable to host the retreat for any reason, all payments, other than the $40 registration deposit, will be refunded in full.

Note that adults and families will need to register their participants for the Confirmation Retreat. Gilmont is unable to accept group registrations from churches at this time.
