What do past summer staff consider the best part about working at camp?
- "The best part of working at Gilmont was having a place to belong for the summer. Having somewhere to work where I know I’m wanted and loved and getting to make connections with other staff members and some campers."
- "The joys, the memories, the kindness and compassion of kids, the amount of times I laughed so hard, fellowship all summer long. "
- "The best part about working at Gilmont is hands down the friends I made. I really got to connect with staff and have met some of my best friends because of camp."
- "The best part about working at Gilmont was teaching kids how to experience nature instead of fearing it. Watching a camper's curiosity when you start interacting with nature and turn a creepy crawly into a learning experience is amazing, and that stuff impacts them and leaves them feeling more confident about exploring the outdoors."
