Soaking in Resurrection: An Easter Retreat for Ministers and Church Leaders
April 10-14, 2023
Now is the time for you to walk the Road to Emmaus, to walk with the wonder of the things that have happened over these days and to eat breakfast with Jesus on the beach. Now is the time for you to soak in the mystery of resurrection and embrace the new life God has for you.
The rhythm of this retreat is designed for ministry leaders to engage in deep breathing after busy Lent and Easter seasons. There will be ample time to rest, to worship, to walk, to listen, to be with friends in community, to play, to soak in the resurrection message, and to feast at the table.
Clay Brantley and Lil Smith have designed the rhythm of the retreat to be airy with lots of room for you to choose how to lean into rest, to reflect, and to be renewed. Each day will include one plenary session and one worship opportunity. Optional programming will be available for those who want more structure. Clay and Lil will also be available to meet with individuals who desire a time or spiritual direction/compassionate listening.

The retreat will start Monday, April 10 with registration beginning at 4:00pm, and dinner served at 6:00pm. The retreat will conclude on Friday, April 14 following breakfast and a closing session.
As an integral part of the Cohorts at Gilmont ministry initiative, the Congregational Support Committee of Grace Presbytery is partnering with Camp Gilmont to fund two-thirds of the retreat expenses.
When registering on our new registration site, please create a new user account (if you haven't attended a Gilmont program in 2023), select "Adult Retreats" and choose the "Resurrection Retreat" option. Single occupancy $300 per person (At registration, please only pay the $100 deposit. The CSC will cover the remaining $200.)

Cancellations and Refunds
Full payment is due two weeks prior to the retreat start date.
24 hour grace period: Cancellations occurring within 24 hours of registration are eligible for a full refund of all payments, including the registration deposit.
More than 14 days: Cancellations occurring 14+ days prior to the retreat start date will result in a refund of all payments except the $100 non-refundable registration deposit.
Less than 13 Days: Cancellations occurring within 10 days prior to the retreat start date will result in forfeiture of the entire tuition including the $100 non-refundable registration deposit. You will be given the option to apply all payments to a future retreat in the same calendar year.
Retreat Cancellation: If Camp Gilmont is unable to host the retreat due to increased concerns or restrictions related to COVID-19, all payments, other than the $40 registration deposit, will be refunded in full.
