Gilmont Men's Work Weekend - November 15-17, 2019

Picture
Work Weekends are a great opportunity for community members new and old to spend time together at camp while bettering our beloved facilities. Some find the shared work deeply satisfying.  Work weekends are a pleasurable way to reconnect. If you have never been to camp before, Work Weekends are a relaxed and casual way to make new friends and get to know Gilmont.

Registration:
Please call today to register for the Work Weekend you plan to attend. As we get closer to the date we will send you a list of jobs we are completing during the work weekend you are attending so that you can let us know if you have any special skills and what kind of work you would like to do.

Work weekends are for all ages (those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult). If you are coming with a young child, please be aware that your child will need to be supervised during the time you are working (and throughout the weekend).

Work Crews

Men's work crews from FPC Tyler and FPC Garland work on projects regularly at Gilmont, but why should we let them have all of the fun?  Do you have a skill to share or just a willing heart?  You are welcome to join in with the gang and help remodel, reconstruct, and reconnect with friends!  Contact us for more information so we can match your skill set with Gilmont's needs.
